			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft" style="margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px;" src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/122/261888370_93b722eab0_m.jpg" alt="" width="240" height="160" />Sometimes, especially if you do not work outside the home, you can get into a rut of staying at home day after day.  If you&#8217;re depressed, staying at home can deepen the depression.  I have struggled with this myself, sometimes not leaving the house for up to a week at a time in the old days of clutter and despair.<span id="more-201"></span></p>
<p>Leaving the house every day opens up all sorts of opportunities.  For example, you could:</p>
<ul>
<li>drop off items you&#8217;ve planned to donate</li>
<li>shop for fresh, nutritious food to fuel your body</li>
<li>get some sunshine (and Vitamin D) to improve your mood and health</li>
<li>go to a cafe for a hot or cool drink and some people watching</li>
<li>rent a DVD (and return it on time <img src='http://www.nurturinghope.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' />  because you&#8217;re going out tomorrow too)</li>
<li>take a box of used books to a used bookstore to trade for some books you haven&#8217;t yet read</li>
<li>go for a stroll</li>
<li>go for a swim at a beach, lake, or pool</li>
<li>take the kids to the park</li>
<li>take your old magazines to a doctor&#8217;s or dentist&#8217;s office</li>
<li>go on a date with your significant other</li>
<li>meet a friend for a chat</li>
<li>please leave a comment with your favorite idea!</li>
</ul>
<p>When you choose this Tweak, find a fun and/or useful reason to leave the house every day &#8212; or no reason at all!</p>
<p><span class="blackContent">Remember:</span></p>
<p><strong>Choose no more than one tweak per month </strong>– don’t try to pile them on!  Practicing a single tweak for at least a full month gives you the best chance of forming a real habit and life change.  Do not try to add another tweak until the previous tweak has become a habitual part of your life (this can sometimes take longer than a month).</p>
<p><strong>This is all about loving yourself and creating a joyful life! </strong>Therefore, when choosing a new tweak to practice, pick one that is appealing and gives you a sense of anticipation.</p>
